Our Year in 3A

All about my time in year 3
My best things…
I want to share my sketching exercise, enviormental posters, making cards for Mr. Ashby and the best, best, best is my teacher Mr. Ashby.
I didn’t like…
When I came to this school and I didn’t had any friends.

I want to improve on…
Math’s , running fast, type faster
I’ve improved in…
Doing my homework by myself, writing neat, being organized.

The best thing about Year 3 was the egg drop and making new friends.

I did not like the sharks swimming on top of my head at Sentosa.

When I first started at Chatsworth International School the best thing was that it was swimming so on the first day of school I got to go in the swimming pool. The thing I didn’t really like was that the work was hard because I had done nothing like it before and the others had so it was easier for them. A thing that I have improved is spelling because words that I spelt wrong I have learnt here. Something I want to get better at next year is getting my work done a bit faster.

The best thing we did this year was when we went to Jurong swimming complex.
It was very fun! A time I didn’t like was when Mr. Ashby couldn’t come to school
because he was feeling sick. I have improved in my handwriting because at the
start of the year my hand writing wasn’t so good , now my hand writing is better.
Something I want to get better at next year is subtraction in working form.

All about year three…
The best thing about year 3 was meeting Mr. Ashby. He is the first male teacher I had while I am 8 years old. I also liked it when we went ice skating at Fuji ice palace and it was the first time for me to go ice skating.

I didn’t really like it when we do brainstorms in the beginning of a new unit.

I have improved in reading thick books, spelling and mathematics.

In year 4, I would like to get better at writing at cursive.

The best things in year3 are when we went to Ice skating and Jurong East swimming complex .It was so fun because in swimming complex there was a river pool that is so fun. Something that I didn’t like was I couldn’t play long with Ben at Jack’s Barbeque party. And I didn’t get something that I wanted from my mum. Something I improved in is English. Year 3 and 4 Overnight Excursion to UnderwaterWorld, Sentosa Island, Singapore

On the 22nd May, we went to Underwater World on Sentosa Island. We went for a sleepover and we slept in the viewing tunnel of the aquarium. We could touch the stingrays, small sharks, small fish and starfish in the touch pool. There were lots of tanks with different sea creatures and it was amazing. We saw Sea Angels which are
very small creatures that live in very deep and cold water where divers can not go.
The ones we saw happened to be found in shallow water. They are called sea angels
Because they swim with wings and they look like little angels. We learnt that we should not eat shark fin soup because sharks are becoming endangered.
On the second day we went to Dolphin lagoon. When the show was finished, we all got
to touch the pink dolphin called Jumbo. We had a great time and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Day 1

This the very first blog entry for our class. We have set up this site so we can talk to a class at Nelson Central School in Nelson, New Zealand.
We met our newest classmate today. His name is Kiki and he comes from Nelson, New Zealand. He says that he misses all the kids in Room 6 at Nelson Central School but he is also very excited to be going to school in Singapore and he is looking forward to letting his friends back in New Zealand know about all the neat things that he has been up to.
Hi we are the students of 3A at Chatsworth International School in Singapore.
We are learning about cultures at the moment and the ways that some cultures can be vulnerable. In two weeks we are going to underwater world on Sentosa Island and we will be staying the night. Most of the boys in 3A like Lego and we really like playing class games and having golden time .We have lots of books and games in our class. In class we have been writing diamante poems. Our teacher in 3A is very funny and funky. His name is Mr. Ashby. Thank you for visiting our BLOG.
